En route a visit to Pinnawala Elephant orphanage in time to witness bottle milk feeding for Baby Elephants at 13.15Hours feeding will be on for about 30 Minutes. Thereafter witness all the Elephants leaving the orphanage crossing the road to a nearby
Pinnawala is an orphanage for elephants set Zoological Gardens. This orphanage was established to feed, nurse and house young elephant found abandoned by development projects or those found wounded. It is probably the closest you’ll ever come to an elephant and certainly the most unforgettable.
After Breakfast leave the Hotel to visit Sigiriya Rock fortress. You may climb up to the top of the rock or may visit up to the place where the frescos are. If you climb up to the top of the rock. You could witness the ruins of the palace & the swimming pool used by the King Kassapa. A visit to Museum at Sigiriya. Thereafter an Elephant back safari at Habarana. Journey will take about 30Minutes. Travelling through a jungle & crossing a lake. Return to the Hotel. Rest of the day enjoy Hotel swimming pool or at leisure. Dinner at the Hotel.

After Breakfast check out from the Hotel & proceed to Kandy. En route a visit to Dambulla Cave & Golden Temple. Thereafter a visit to a spice garden at Mathale. Straight drive to Kandy for check in at the Hotel. (Travelling time from Sigiriya / Dambulla / Habarana to Kandy would be 02.15Hours) At leisure. Leave the Hotel to the city to witness a cultural show. Show starts at 17.00Hours. It will on for an Hour. Thereafter a visit to the Temple of the tooth relics. Visit to the Kandy city view point & Return to the Hotel for Dinner.
After Breakfast check out from the Hotel. A city tour in Kandy. Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route a visit to a Tea Factory, Tea Museum & a Tea plantation at Labukelle. Drive to Nuwara Eliya for check in at the Hotel. From Kandy to Nuwara Eliya while travelling you will witness several waterfalls. (Travelling time from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya would be 02.45Hours) After relaxing some time leave the Hotel to the Gregory’s park. Spend some time here. You may enjoy a fresh strawberry juice at the restaurant just near the Gregory Lake. Environment around the Gregory Lake is very beautiful. Thereafter return to the Hotel for Dinner. Climate here is cold. You may bring your winter cloths.
After Breakfast leave the Hotel to visit Hakgala Botanical gardens. Thereafter return to the Hotel for check out by 11.30Hours & proceed to Nanu Oya railway station in time to board to a train for a journey to Ella. Train arrives at Nanu Oya railway station by 12.30Hours & Train leaves by 12.45Hours. You could witness the marvelous of British railway engineering & beautiful sceneries. Travelling on the foot board is dangerous. You will be travelling in a second class compartment. Guide too will travel with you in the train. (Train journey will be about 02.30Hours to 03.00Hours) Driver after dropping you to the train will leave for Ella with your luggage. He will report to Ella railway station to collect you & drive straight to Tissamaharama / Yala for check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner at the Hotel. (Travelling time from Ella to Yala or Tissamaharama would be 02.45Hours) At 09.30Hours also there is a Train to Ella. There are only 2 compartments rest are goods carrier. 3rd class compartment. If need to change to earlier train is possible. Also note in case if the train at 12.45Hours late long time you will have to continue in the vehicle.
After an early Breakfast or with packed Breakfast leave the Hotel by 06.00Hours in jeeps to Yala National park to witness Leopard and the other wild animals. Such as Elephants & Bears. This journey will take about 02.00 to 02.30Hours. While in the park do not get down from the jeep, avoid feeding animals, do not throw articles to the park & avoid using flash while taking photographs. After the jeep safari, return to the Hotel for check out & proceed to Unawatuna or Hikkaduwa via High way road from Mathara. En route witness stilt fishing & a city tour in Galle. Check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or enjoy the Beach. Vehicle will drop the Guest at the Hotel & return to Colombo. Dinner at the Hotel. (Travelling time from Yala or Tissamaharama to Unawatuna / Hikkaduwa would be 03.30Hours)
